Yet another new streaming service is entering the ring here in 2020, with NBCUniversal’s Peacock set to arrive on April 15th. Like most streaming services, Peacock will be home to both original content and pre-existing NBCUniversal movies and television shows, with original programming thus far including reboots of both “Saved By the Bell” and “Punky Brewster.”
On the horror front, Deadline reports this week that Peacock will have exclusive streaming rights to Universal’s film slate going forward, including 2021’s Jurassic World 3. Colin Trevorrow is directing the third installment in the Jurassic World trilogy, which will feature the returns of Sam Neill and Laura Dern, alongside Fallen Kingdom‘s Jeff Goldblum.
The new Jurassic film will roar into theaters on June 11, 2021.
Peacock will also be the place where you can stream “Bates Motel” and Jaws, but at this time we can’t be sure that those titles will be immediately available on the day of launch.
